Interior designer by day, yoga instructor and business owner by night and weekend, Erin focuses on bringing well-being into the home and onto the mat. Her yoga journey started in her home state of Minnesota and made its way to California where she now resides. Harmony and peace carry through her yoga classes with a sense of independence through tools offered for the use of yoga in daily life. As this practice is ever-evolving, she sees yoga as a way of life complete with values and centered in compassion, which is an internal compass when choices and challenges arise.
Erin also heads up Live + Breathe, a non-profit that provides free yoga to under-served and vulnerable populations. Regular yoga classes are taught at local organizations for at-risk teens, children with mental health challenges, homeless adults and their families as well as low-income housing. Erin began by facilitating classes as service work with the belief that the positive impact that yoga embodies is, in itself, a simple way to effect change and transformation with respect for each other’s journey.
